You Have Not Failed Award

Picture
Nominated by KR

Oh boy. So many tags going around these last couple of weeks! I apologize for not posting much other than these tags lately (I think I've gotten, what, one post that wasn't an award or tag up within the last week?), it's been a busy few days.

But, with that said, we have another new tag that was just introduced to the blogosphere! And, just like all these others, the purpose of this one is really quite sweet. KR from Sweet as a Rose (isn't she?) created this award to help out girls who, for whatever reason, may need a little boost in their confidence, or just to know that they're appreciated, strong, and are just as important as anyone else.. And truly, you are.

Every single person on our wonderful little planet has the potential to do amazing things. "Amazing" doesn't have to mean world-changing, either. Just being yourself and making others happy is an amazing thing in itself. Think about it: When you make your friend happy, they take that happiness to every other person they come in contact with. The next person does the same, and the next. Little things count, and many (many) of the world's bigger things could never have happened without those little details.

Now, rules of the tag:

The Guidelines

  •  Nominate at least five bloggers. Tagbacks are allowed, as is nominating people more than once.
  • Answer the questions the Blogger who nominated you asked. Make sure to use those exact questions, the Blogger has used. And add 1-3 original question from yourself. (Make sense? IF not leave a comment)
  • Be sure to leave a comment on the nominees blog, letting them know that they've been nominated. Leave a link to the post so they can easily find it as well.
  • Also, make sure to leave the original post, on your blog, when you do the award.
  •  Thank the Blogger for nominating you.
  • Copy and paste the guidelines so that everybody knows what is going on.
  • And finally, have FUN!

Those guidelines are copied and pasted directly from KR's original post. Onward to question-answering!

KR's Questions:

#1 What is the Bravest thing you have ever done?

I'm racking my brain trying to think of something. I know there's something worth telling, but I just can't remember. I'm sorry lol.

#2 What actress/singer/ person do you admire and look up to as a person?

I don't look up to any one specific person (boy, I am just the best question answerer ever, huh? lol), but anyone that has been in very difficult situations and come back from them a better person, or someone who has worked very hard to get where they are—someone like that always gets major respect from me.

#3 Who motivates you?

Making others happy, learning how to be a better person in terms of reliability, responsibility, etc. as well as also learning how to adequately deal with life's problems.

#4 Name two interesting facts about yourself.

Let's see... I love learning about other cultures, and would love to get into traveling. Second, I am quite a shy person outside of the online world.

#5  What is the Scariest thing you've ever done?

Once again, I can't remember any specific event or thing. Apologies :/

#6 Are you related to anyone famous?

Not that I'm aware of! A great grandfather of mine was a general in the American Civil War, but that's about as famous as it gets, that I know of. Don't know very much of my ancestry, though, honestly.

#7 Is there an item that you always have to bring/wear? An item that if you don't bring it, you feel like a different person?

Not really, I don't bring much to places on a regular basis. My cell phone is pretty close to that point, though!

#8 Name five great quality's/characteristics about yourself.
I love to look at things positively (though, admittedly, it doesn't always happen). I'm very easily entertained. I tend to learn things fairly quickly, but I don't mind when it takes awhile. I love making others feel happy. Uh.. one more.. I try my hardest to do things right.

And a couple of questions from me to you..
  1. Forgetting current skills, if you could have any profession you wanted, what would it be?
  2. Coke or Pepsi?
  3. If you could change one thing (anything; be it yourself, life, or the world in general), what would you change?

Nominations:

The rules say you must tag at least five other bloggers; however, I've asked KR if she wouldn't mind me skipping the nominations this time, because I don't want to be tagging those of you who are absolutely swamped with different things (including tags) over and over again. So, though I normally try to avoid doing this, anyone who is willing to create a post for this award is welcome to have it! Consider yourself nominated.

Thank you KR for the nomination! Your sweet award will be displayed on my "About" page. :)

Edit (6/915): Just noticed that question #3 says "Who motivates you?" LOL. Sorry about that, thought it said "What motivates you?"

  1. Aw this tag sounds so nice! I love your answers and many bloggers seem to be pretty shy outside the online world...

  2. Awe, this tag is really nice! I haven't seen it floating around the blogger world yet though. I've been so swamped with school work; finals are next week, that I have been avoiding these tags like the plague! I can't wait to spend some time in the coming weeks catching up on all of the new ones floating around! Great post girl (:

    1. Isn't it? It's certainly a nice message to spread around. Once again, I completely get where you're coming from! It can be so difficult to cram blogging in there with everything else. But worth it. Good luck with your finals!
