Author's note: Happy National Poetry Month! No better time to start writing a poem or story of your own, no matter how small and simple or big and complicated; even the most boring topic can be brought to life with a few right words.

Experiment with your writing. Have fun with it. Figure out your own unique style, and remember that mistakes are just as important as successes!

Want your photo captioned and added to my next Poetic Pictures post?
Send it to me via email and I'll see what I can do!

  1. As always, you caught my eye. You've got an amazing talent! Just when you write a simple phrase I feel like there is more to it. Happy National Poetry Month to you too!

    1. Awe, once again a big thank you, Hp. :) I really appreciate such kind words. I try to think carefully about what I'm going to say, but at the same time I'm trying to just let things flow. Can be quite difficult to do that, sometimes lol! We can overthink the simplest things.

That's so kind of you! My button can be found on my "About" page, which is located at the top of the page within the little black bar. It's a bit hard to spot—can't figure out how to make it bigger!

    1. Thank you! There are so many wonderful quotes related to writing, it was difficult to pick just three. The first image I've been wanting to use with something for a long time—the last one, however, was very hard to find one that suited it!

I'd love to caption yours! If you'd like, feel free to email them to me anytime, and I'll add them to my next Poetic Pictures post. :)
