Poem: "Dawning Day"

Dawning Day
By: Eve Estelle

Beautiful are these colored skies,
With burning yellows and a blaze of red;
Filled with more wisdom than the wisest of wise,
It's a promise to us that a new day's ahead.

Rising fire, burning sphere,
Yesterday's troubles.. don't belong here.
Leave behind your old sorrows,
Take a breath and clear your mind;
Just watch the sky, watch how it glows,
Forget for now, the daily grind.

  2. I need to paint this all over my walls in ever house I live and ever plan on living in. Yes, it's that good. And it's something I need to remember. ALWAYS because I tend to focus more on the bad than the good.

    1. Awe, I'm so glad you like it that much, India. lol! Life is definitely so much easier—and just overall better—when you focus more on the good side of things. Even if it's a tiny little sliver of a "silver lining," it's still something. It can be hard sometimes to do that, but it's so worth learning to do! Thanks for commenting!

    1. Thank you. :) I thought so too—I kept searching for others as I wasn't sure if this fit the poem well enough, but I always ended back up at this one. I think it works well!

      Hey, also, quick question: I've been trying to figure out if people who comment on my posts are able to receive email notifications when I reply to their comments. Do you happen to get any?

    3. Ohh good! Another commenter said they didn't have the "Notify me" option, so I was afraid my template somehow got rid of email notifications! Thanks Seema, that's a big help. :)
