Poem: "All Hallows' Eve"


All Hallows' Eve

Moonlight shines
On this hallowed night,
Lanterns burn with flickering fire;
Spirits haunt with ancient ire,
Black cats roam and witches stir;
Children walk in all attire -
"Odd" begone! Masked, they were.

On All Hallows' Eve,
Things aren't what they seem -
Magic and mischief..
Happy Halloween!

    I love this poem! Perfectly captures Halloween and has a great rhythm to it.

      Thank you, Haresh! :) Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Love the atmosphere of it, and I hope I was able to put some of that "atmosphere" in this poem.
