Midget Monday #7

Happy Monday!

You know, the whole reason I started Midget Monday was because I was coming up with all of these ideas for short poems and stories that I felt weren't enough to post on their own. But ever since these posts actually started coming out, all of those ideas have gone and disappeared. What's up with that?!

What is Midget Monday?

Midget Monday is a weekly post containing one micro-poem (~6 lines or less) and one "micro" story (~300 words or less). Poems and stories may sometimes share a theme, but will usually be two random, mismatched topics. I may also build more upon any of the poems or stories that I use in these posts, so you might see these (or something similar) again in the future!

Good evening (or morning, noon, or night, wherever you may be)!

A while back I was tagged for the Blogger Buddies Tag by Zelus over at My Hopeful Pencil. I must apologize to her for taking so long to get to this - I had taken a lengthy break right after she tagged me, and then the holidays came around. But, finally, here we are.

However, I'm not alone! Part of this tag involves collaborating with a fellow blogger to answer some questions, and so answering along side of me will be Erika Gold, from Books, Stars, and the Pages in Between. Erika is a fantastic book reviewer, she has a wonderful personality, and I had a great time collaborating with her on this. If you don't know her, make sure you stop by sometime and say hello!

Now, I'm a GoogleDocs noob, and I couldn't get the fonts we had picked out to transfer over into Blogger. So, instead, my answers will be in this dark pinkish color, and Erika's responses will be in this purple color.

A New Year's Thank You #2 (With Gifts!)

Wow, another year has come and gone. And I swear to you, I can't remember half of this one!

From the very start, 2015 was a life-changing year for me, in some very bad ways and in some not-so-bad ways. I don't know if this caused me to become more aware of others' troubles or what, but this seems to have been a turbulent year for an unusual number of people. Many that I encountered, both online and offline, agreed that this was a challenging year for them. Still, that's life I suppose - nothing is permanent, things change, and things happen. All the time. But no matter how rough that patch you're going through is, it could always be worse. Always.

But enough of that. It's nearly New Years Day, and I just want to say thank you. I say it a bunch, but I mean it every single time. Thank you for all of your visits, your comments, your messages. Thank you for taking a little time, precious time, out of your day to read this. Thank you for your follows, and for your help in growing my little blog here.
