Poem: "Forged In Blood"

Forged In Blood
By: Eve Estelle

What's more fragile than glass,
Yet stronger than diamond
And thicker than water?

Sacred be the bonds in birth,
In blood, of kin;
Repeated thrice our crimes in war,
Yet let it take this life, a scar,
To seek their love and win.

Author's note: Spur-of-the-moment piece for you, today! Wrote this in about 20 minutes. May make some tweaks later.

Happy late Easter -- I hope you all had a lovely weekend with family! And if not, well, the best and strongest families are forged in blood -- it may be each other's blood, but, you know. Give and take. 😉
